This research project is funded by the EU ‘Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development’ Programme of the Fifth Framework Programme, run between April 2000 and March 2003.

A variety of partners are involved in the project – the project is multi-disciplinary and multinational involving research teams from Europe and Canada.
